About Me
My love for wedding planning began at a young age, curled up on the couch watching wedding rom-coms with my mom and big sister. As I grew older, that spark turned into a passion, and I began exploring ways to make my dream a reality. That journey led me to Oklahoma State University, where I earned my BSBA in Hospitality and Tourism with a focus in Event Management. During that time, I also began building lasting relationships within the wedding and event industry.

Outside of coordinating weddings, I’m a proud dog mom to two pups — Foster, my golden retriever, and Ellie, my white lab. I treasure time with my family, friends, and my high school sweetheart and longtime boyfriend, Will. When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll usually find me curled up with a good book, binge-watching a favorite show, or sipping on an overly caffeinated beverage with my trusty water cup in hand.

The Story Behind the Name
When I decided to start my business, I knew the name had to mean something special. I chose Humble Grounds to honor one of the most inspirational marriages I’ve ever known — my parents’. The words “Humble” and “Grounds” come from the meanings of their middle names, a perfect reflection of the values they’ve built their life on. Married since 1996, they have shown me a love that is steady, selfless, and enduring.

Their marriage has taught me that love is never perfect, but when shared with the right person, it is always worth it. My greatest hope in starting this business is to help couples create a foundation for a lifetime of love, just as my parents have.
